Why did you become a hairstylist?
I started my career at this historically fab place in the glorious, halcyon 80’s. Literally a dream come true: avant-garde hair, edgy fashion shows and unique personal style (and that was just the break room!) all came together. It’s mind bending to be back here in this unconceivable time we’re in.

What inspires you?
One of the things I adore about this biz is the possibility to aid in transformation. A good haircut is essential to making a change. Advanced courses with Sassoon and Aveda led to working with classic shapes and natural hair textures. Short hair is my absolute love, however. I also do gorgeous natural colors (demi and semi too) as well as artful grey diffusion if you want to grow color out or don’t desire all over process. Just ask.
