Why did you become a hairstylist?
I am an artist and have tried many different careers over the years. Some have been creative, some less so, but I keep coming back to hair styling. I enjoy using the hair’s natural texture to sculpt a shape and create a unique, flattering, fashionable look that caters to each individual client. I am also a people-person and enjoy making people feel happy and confident.

I am fascinated by the way you can take someone’s natural features and enhance what’s already there to make that person feel and look especially fabulous.

What inspires you?
I am inspired by the unexpected, by adventure and the twist at the end of the story. I’m inspired by the seasons, change, and by growth. I am inspired by all of my amazing teachers and colleagues, and last but definitely not least I’m inspired by you, the amazing person in my chair.

A product you can’t live without?
Rene Furterer’s Okara Spray to protect my color and help detangle my long hair.

I love all hair, but specialize in all methods of highlighting (natural and creative color), and cutting and styling curly and/or long hair.
