Why did you become a hairstylist?
Well, it all goes back to when I was working in a child care before the kids would go home I’d wash the kids hands and face and style their hair before they went home. The kids and their parents liked it. The parents noticed my talent. I realized that I enjoyed it and decided to go to beauty school to learn more. I feel blessed doing what I do for a living. My mother was also a hairstylist in Tijuana.

What inspires you?
First of all I like to work with my clients to hear what they want. I Love to hear what they have to say and work with them to create what is in their minds eye. I am your hands to create what you want. I like to see what hair styles people are wearing on the street, in the movies, magazines, past and present… Inspiration is all around. It’s All good!!!

A product you can’t live without?
I use Rene Furterer Forticea Shampoo to stimulate growth, Bumble & Bumble Curl Conscious Conditioner. Currently for styling my hair it’s Hamadi Shea Leave In Bumble & Bumble curl Conscious Defining Creme, Rene Furterer Vegetal Sculpting Gel. I like to cocktail my styling aids to accomplish the look that I want.
